 For our growing team, we are looking for enthusiastic team members to take an active role at the “Global Technical Services Department” as a “Projects and Engineering Services Director" reporting directly to CTO of YILPORT Holding.

 The position will be based in YILPORT Holding headquarters located at YILDIRIM Tower, Maslak, Istanbul and/or Gebze Terminal.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, and other related programs
• Have over 10 years of work experience,
• Written and oral fluency in English is a must (additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese are preferable),
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Projects) and Mini tab etc.), preferably in Excel and data review
• Professional knowledge of ERP Programs (SAP, MS-SQL)
• Industry knowledge in production, manufacturing, mining, rail or oil & gas and experience in fully automated and/or high-speed production environment in Engineering or Technology roles will be an asset
• Preferably has Lean / Six Sigma knowledge and experience; Green/ Black belt preferred
• Proven experience in project management, port logistics, Port and/or Heavy equipment industries, multiple projects and cross departmental projects
• Proven knowledge of International standards for Manufacturing, Services and repairs such as ISO-JIS-EN-FEM-DIN etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse workforce at all levels in a multi-cultural environment and team
• Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks in a dead-line oriented work environment
• Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment
• Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach
• Must be a creative thinker, result oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy
• Able to travel domestically and internationally when required
• Completed military service for male candidate

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to CTO, the position will be mainly responsible forensuring that the company standards for equipment, modifications and services meet the international standards for compliance and requirements and designed port equipment and machinery can run to their maximum efficiency, highest standards and in the safest and most cost-efficient manner.

Besides the ideal candidate will be taking an active role as a key player in the Technical Services Management team and be part of the growth and improvements of the department in all aspects.

Additional responsibilities will be as follows:

• Developing and maintaining Global equipment standards based on internal and external best practices and information.
• Providing support to protect the economic life of the equipment reducing maintenance and repair costs, increasing work health & safety of the Company with proposal for modifications.
• Ensuring all projects within the scope of Technical Services are executed within the set boundaries and compliant with the expected deliverables, quality and timeline.
• Developing a team of Project and Control Engineers to support all terminals internationally for all Technical Services andmanaging and leading the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels for operational success.
• Managing and coordinating the project plan in cooperation with local and international stakeholders where needed in.
• Providing on-site commissioning and project management for (International) projects assigned.
• Ensuring the team is up to date with local and international standards regarding the legal legislation and requirements for the destination of the projects.
• Working in cooperation with key stakeholders, customers and suppliers, by communicating with them and meeting their needs at the desired quality level and on time and displaying a customer-oriented approach by fulfilling the requirements of customer satisfaction for requests and complaints from customers.
• Ensuring the fulfillment of Project budget and timelines as approved. Providing Financial modelling and budget studies where needed.
• Acting in compliance with Environment and Occupational Health and Safety regulations and company principles in all activities in the area of responsibility.
• Preparing and submitting coherent, accurate and comprehensive Monthly Project reports for the Top Management
