Senior Tendering Engineer

Yapı Merkezi IDIS Engineering company is looking for a Senior Tender Engineer for Sales and Business Development Division. The role will be responsible for  supporting sales backoffice, managing, preparing offers according to customers’ requirement maintaining customer documentation. In addition, this role will support Sales/Business Development for sales activities as well. 

         Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Electric/ Electronical Engineering,
• A minimum of five years’ experience within a manufacturing environment, electromechanical works preferred. 5-7 years should be in engineering administration and customer service,
• Good command of spoken and written English,
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial/operational data,
• Good interpersonal and cross-functional communication skill,
• Excellent communication and math skills,
• Ability to multitask and work independently, when required, toward business goals,
• Ability to formally improve processes for the organization,
• Ability to lead and mentor others in process improvement projects,
• Advance level of MS office products.

       Job Descriptions:

• Prepares quotes by studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents, consulting with engineers and other technical personnel,
• Organizes and maintains customer files – both hard copy and system as applicable,
• Coordinates and conveys customer requirements to Engineering and Operations,
• Support efforts within Sales and Marketing,
• Formally follows up on quotes given and orders not received to analyze reasons,
• Being responsible for planning the marketing activities, setting strategies product range,
• Offering technical solutions for specific customer requirement and supporting the sales team,
• Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs,
• Coordinates and conveys customer requirements to Engineering and Operations,
• Works closely with vendor base to establish outside processes for new product,
• Formally follows up on quotes given and orders not received to analyze reasons,
• Ability to ask questions and probe customers regarding their technical environment,
• Travelling to customer sites as required.
