We are looking for a Tax Executive

ROLE PURPOSE

·        Calculation, declaration, payment for monthly taxes (SCT,VAT 1- VAT 2, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, BITT, Buying and Selling Declaration (Ba/Bs), Usage and Licence Fee, Treasury Share, Contribution to the costs of NRA, TRX)

·        Calculation and controlling for Advance Tax Return and Corporation Tax and preparing financial statements and references.

·        Controlling for accounts of non-deductible expenses and preparing statements.

·        Analysing major contracts for tax responsibility (Stamp Tax etc.) 

·        Tax legislation research and keeping abreast of changes.

·        Correspondence & affairs with Ministry of Finance and other public authorities (Information Technology and Communication Institution, Turkish Treasury, Ministry of Communication etc.)

·        Control and declaration Legal Financial Statements.

·        Preparation of official documents for Public Authorities.

Your place in the team

Role Purpose:

·        Tax legislation research and keeping abreast of changes.

·        Correspondence & affairs with Ministry of Finance and other public authorities (Information Technology and Communication Institution, Turkish Treasury, Ministry of Communication etc.)

·        Control and declaration Legal Financial Statements.

·        Preparation of official documents for Public Authorities.

Key Accountabilities - Key Activities / Decision Areas:

·        Tax Accounting

§  Monthly and Annual Taxes Calculation (SCT,VAT 1- VAT 2, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, Buying and Selling Declaration (Ba/Bs), Usage and Licence Fee, Treasury Share, Contribution to the costs of NRA, TRX) reconciliation with SAP accounting system  and  posting entries.

§  Analysing major contracts for tax responsibility (Stamp Tax etc.) 

§  Controlling preparing statements for accounts of non-deductible expenses and deductible accounts

·        Tax Declaration and Reporting

§  Monthly taxes declaration and demand for payment (SCT,VAT 1- VAT 2, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, Buying and Selling Declaration (Ba/Bs), Usage and Licence Fee, Treasury Share, Contribution to the costs of NRA, TRX)

§  Controlling accounts for Advance Tax Return and Corporation Tax, preparing and declaration financial statements (BS, IS) and references.

·        Keeping abreast of legislation

§  Tax legislation research and keeping abreast of changes.

§  Replying the people’s questions from other departments about tax legislation.

·        Establishing relation with the Fiscal Administration

§  Correspondence (tax ruling, announcement, notification) and affairs with Finance and other public authorities (Information Technology and Communication Institution, Turkish Treasury, Ministry of Communication etc.)

§  Documents and information which are demanded by the Authorities for audit or other reasons are supplied with organization.

·        Establishing relation with the External Audit Firm

§  Preparation of documents and information for Tax Audit Team to take tax certification service

§  Demanding letter ruling for hesitant cases and filtering cases.

·        University degree from Economics, Administration or Finance

·        Accounting, SAP and MS Office knowledge

·        CPA (SMMM) License is an asset

·        Tax knowledge is critical

·        Good Presentation Skills
