Varner Turkey Liaison Office is operating as a bridge between our supply chain and head office since 2002 and based in İ.D.T.M. Buildings, Bakırköy.We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Garment Technician

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferably University or Vocational Textile High School degree

Good knowledge on pattern making, grading and garment construction

Preferably experienced on different product groups

Gerber, Assyst etc. pattern system knowledge and preferably familiar with 3D systems

Preferably experienced in working with PLM systems

Experienced working at sourcing offices and/or production

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent team player

Good command on English

Good command on Microsoft Office programs

Minimum 3 years experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

Measuring and evaluating Development, Fit, Size Set, PPS and Shipment samples before submitting to our Head Office

Understanding garment construction technics and suitability for mass production

Liaising with suppliers and internal departments

Making suggestions for better quality and cost options

Being able to guide suppliers to make necessary corrections with clear instructions

Working with suppliers to improve understanding of our brands fitting requirements

Being part of Risk analysis of product quality

Establishing accurate communication with Fit&Pattern department at Head Office in Norway, Merchandising and Quality teams in Turkey and with Suppliers

Executing follow-up and documentation in PLM system

Being able to work in fast paced environment

Role may require travels domestic and abroad if needed
