Tezcanlar Yatırım A.Ş. started its industrial journey in 1989 by acquiring a wheat flour factory in Adana and transferred its a couple-of-decades experience obtained from agricultural business to industrial production. As years passed the industrial activities widened by building/establishing multiple facilities in various sectors and accomplished to employ more than 1500 employees in its manufacturing and commercial entities. By hitting the right target on right time, Tezcanlar Yatırım A.Ş. became one of the few producers in starch-based sugar sector and the sole producer of citric acid in Turkey.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Minimum 3 years of experience,
• Undergraduate degree from Economy, Business Administration, International Relations or related fields from reputable universities (Master degree is an additional asset),
• Knowledge of Internationally accepted and applied Internal Auditing Standards,
• CIA, CISA is preferred,
• Excellent command of English,
• Problem solving, analytical thinking and communication skills,
• Focus on details, team player.

WHAT RESPONSILITIES ARE WAITING THE CANDIDATES?

• Appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards,
• Developing a comprehensive, practical plan of audit coverage within general areas assigned by the Internal Audit Manager/Director and submit that plan to Internal Audit Manager/Director for review and approval as well as provide periodic updates,
• Meeting audit objectives and achieving practical audit coverage and also communicate to Internal Audit Manager the impact of resource limitations, if any,
• Designing or assisting in the design of audit programs
• Conduct financial and operational audit engagements according to the yearly audit plans in all areas of the Company,
• Inspecting overall internal control processes to determine the accuracy of financial statement account balances and compliance with laws and regulations, company policies and procedures,
• Providing full coverage of the key control points in proper depth in an organized and programmed manner,
• Analyzing operational and management processes and system controls’ effectiveness and efficiency in view and proposing value-added recommendations to improve them,
• Preparing and organizing working papers with adequate documentation showing nature, scope and results of examination,
• Audit experience with a general awareness of risk and being able to conduct operational audits under the supervision of an Internal Audit Manager
