Architect - Materials & Specifications Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Materials & Specifications Development Specialist

Main responsibilities are;

Selection of appropriate materials in the process of architectural design, organization of materials specifications, coordination of technical specifications with the project team, material database creation, updating and development processes that will support the Design Studios and Project Management.

- Minimum 5 years of materials management and preparation of specification experience (spec writing),

- A good technical understanding of design and the design process

- Experience in; Exterior and facade systems

- Preparing materials technical specifications for wide range of materials, (both interior & exterior)

- Tender package preparation and coordination,

- Construction budget preparation,

- Communications with local & foreign materials suppliers,

- Strong technical knowledge of modern building techniques, standards and materials, and follow up on emerging technologies / materials,

- Strong planning, communication and time management skills,

- Very good command of English in reading / comprehension / writing,

- Skilled in using CAD and MS Office programs,

- Male candidates, completion of military service is required
