Swissôtel Resort Bodrum Beach lies directly on the waterfront in Turgutreis, approximately 20 kilometres from the center of Bodrum. The main two-store hotel comprises 70 rooms and suites offering at least 40 m² per room, complimented by villas and duplex terraces in front, which house 72 serviced apartments that are 120-240 m² in size. The bars and restaurants are being created as places of entertainment where the ambiance is formal or casual and dishes are prepared with the finest local produce. Summary of Responsibilities

• Assists and maintains accurate and up to date records of all checklists and relevant administration documents.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work surrounding the pool’, e.g. pool vacuuming, brushing, deep cleaning, mort cleaning etc.
• Assists and maintains up to date reports from the plant operator related water treatments.
• Attends to any emergency drills as and when required.
• Ensures that lifesaving and safety equipment is available and in good working condition at all times.
• Keeps proper storage of all equipment in the area of assignment
• Oversees and ensures proper maintenance of equipment in the area of assignment.
• Supports the sports animators as per the leisure activity program and when required.
• Follows procedures of adherence of safety standards, handling equipment or chemicals supplied and safe exercise practices.
• Keeps a vigilant eye on all swimming pools to ensure that all rules and regulation are strictly adhered to.
• Rescues persons in difficulty in the water and performance first aid and CPR as required
• Ensures respiratory and rescue equipment is in good working order at all times and that the first aid box is up to date.
• Ensures the cleanliness of poolside furniture, sun loungers tables, chairs and umbrellas
• Keeps up to date with the latest life-saving techniques and new products in the market.
• Attends all hotel training as required
• Is able to work in a multicultural environment. 

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Fluent writing, reading and speking in Englih
• Ideally a minimum of one to two years in a similar role
• Must have national pool; lifeguard qualification
• Certificate in first aid, swimming etc.
