We are looking for an ‘’Accounting and Finance Manager’’ (Head of Accounting & Finance Department), reports to President & General Manager.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics,
• Master degrees in Accounting & Finance is an asset
• At least 15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
• Minimum 5 years of team management experience
• Experience in accounting, finance, budget, cost management, internal control and risk
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Effective planning and organization skills
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting and Tax Legislation, knowledge of Commercial Law
• Experience in multinational companies
• Good command of MS office programs, ERP (i.e. MOVEX), high reporting skills,
• Good command of Written and Spoken English, able to communicate with global team members and SMC Corporation’s headquarter.

Job description

• Check reconciliation of trial balance accounts
• Check the cost forms
• Ensure necessary updates and compliance actions by following the legal regulations
• Check the financial statements and ensure timely accrual and payment transactions
• Carry out budget activities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual J-Form and other reports and send them on time
• Organize annual independent audits, ensure that the Audit report is prepared on time and sent it to Japan
• Conduct general assembly and board processes
• Manage the e-invoice, E-archive, E-dispatch compliance and update process by coordinating the domestic and international IT team.
• Ensure that ERP (Movex) transaction controls are done and solve systemic errors with IT team
• Conduct Mersis processes and follow KEP notifications
• Check and confirm payment transactions, follow open exchange positions
• Manage term account transactions and other banking transactions by checking the monthly cash flow report
• Carry out the procedures to be done before the tax office, SGK, Ministry of Industry and Economy.
• Manage the internal control process according to the Group Internal Control Regulations and ensure that necessary local regulations are prepared accordingly
• Conduct quarterly and year-end audits with the tax audit company
• Assist in the preparation of various sales and other reports requested from Japan
• Ensure that collection processes are carried out effectively, check the Expense Documents and assign the expense location correctly
• Make provision calculations at the end of the quarter and at the end of the year and submit them to the approval of the management
• Perform control of payroll calculations
