The purpose of the Business Analyst is to be an important link between information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of software product’s features. As a test engineer, succesful candidate will work closely with software developers and stakeholders to find out any bugs in the application and improve the quality of the added features. It is crucial that the candidate has expertise in understanding of the application support production environment where the applications run, the technologies used and also should be able to understand the application workflows.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge and experience in insurance industry 
• Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services, workflow modeling, web application development 
• Knowledge of Microsoft based technologies
• Ability to write advanced level SQL queries (T-SQL)
• Understanding of data and good command of MS Excel
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation 
• Software Development experience is plus (.Net Framework)
• Knowledge and previous experience with any Test Automation tools is an asset 
• Knowledge of at least one test tooling amongst HP (Quality Center), IBM, Open source
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements 
• Perform quality assurance 
• Define reporting and alerting requirements 
• Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration 
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations
• Analyze test requirements, design, create test scenarios and execute tests.
• Typical tests may include system testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, technical architecture testing, security testing and test automation
• Work with the application development team and/or client to resolve any issues that arise in the testing process General • 3 - 8 years total work experience 
•  Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis and/ or Quality Assurance 
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field 
• Advanced English
