A Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in the sales process by combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products and services. They work closely with sales teams to help win new business and increase sales to existing customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Proven experience in technical sales or related field
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel as needed

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

• Understanding customers' technical needs and how the company's products or services can meet those needs
• Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
• Delivering technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers
• Attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to generate leads and build relationships
• Working with the engineering team to ensure technical solutions are feasible and meet customer needs
• Preparing and delivering technical proposals and documentation
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
• Contributing to the development of marketing materials and technical documentation
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
