QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
LOCAL HOLDING INVESTING IN RENEWABLE ENERGY AND REAL ESTATE is looking for a strategic business development manager directly reporting to company GM and Board.
As a strategic business development manager, you will work directly with top management of the Holding to identify and evaluate new business initiatives including international renewable energy investments, real estate projects, and other opportunities. You will provide the management team with the needed insight into markets and individual projects to drive intelligent, sound decision-making and employ strategic investing and/or divesting approach. With an air of humility, you will bring strong quantitative skills, excellent written/oral communication skills and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is - and what could be. You will be a strong candidate for future top managerial roles.
STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Responsibilities- Structure complex problems, gather and analyze information to deliver insights and recommendations to the executive team
- Conduct a financial and strategic analysis of new and/or existing projects
- Understand and stay current on different project/initiative dynamics to leverage this knowledge to help top management to evaluate next moves
- Cooperate/work with Holding’s budgeting and reporting team, act as a sole owner of specific reports and update them regularly
- Actively engage in financing (equity or loan) by preparation of relevant business materials such as corporate presentations, feasibility studies for top management or third parties (banks, funds, strategic investors etc.)
- Manage, follow up and execute projects assigned by top management and lead teams and/or specific initiatives as a sole responsible
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Mathematics or Economics. MBA and/or relevant Master’s degree is strongly preferred
- Outstanding mathematical skills; ability to follow complex lines of reasoning, strong analytical abilities and a high level of numeracy
- Excellent Ms. Office Skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is a must
- Very good command of English
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong finance/investment knowledge is preferred
- Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Intellectual curiosity, motivation, and capacity for hard work
- Min. 5 years of experience in strategy/business development/finance/investment functions (or consulting and investment banking)
