University degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering or related fields

• Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export process related field

• Good knowledge of international trade terms, Customs & Trade Compliance, customs requirements and documentations, E2E Supply Chain operation, cost calculations

• Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (International Transportation, Suppliers, Warehouses, Ports, Customs Broker etc.)

• Fluent English both written and spoken

• Excellent command of MS Office applications, preferably SAP knowledge

• Should be good team player, self-motivated, service oriented, strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills

• Great attention to detail and accuracy

• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description:

• Ensure timely and accurate Customs Clearance for Import activities of company

• Organizing and following up import/export operations in coordination with Purchasing department, Suppliers, Customs Broker Agencies, Global Service Providing partners, front line/customer service peers and other involved parties

• Planning of inbounds & outbounds, collecting price offers from freight forwarders, 3rd party logistics service providers and leading negotiations when necessary

• Analyzing stock levels and controlling warehouse space availability in harmony with logistics department.

• Making all Banking procedures including preparation of the necessary import/export documents and following-up payments

• Making sure that transactions in the system are executed in sync with operations on the field.

• Measuring and tracking cost of import/export processes. Calculate costs to be applied to price per imported/exported article unit. Continuously seek for improvements

• Work on project basis in order to ensure the right import/export process set-up is in place for newly introduced articles to be imported/exported

• Must be in compliance with Turkish Foreign Trade Legislation, all quality system requirements and guidelines of the company

• Preparing management and follow-up reports on your field, making related statistical studies

• Close follow-up on Foreign Trade Legislation changes

• Attend and lead internal Customs & Trade Compliance audits when necessary
