For one of Turkey's leading construction companies, we are looking for a

"Business Development Executive"

AFR-BDE-01 

to be responsible for Africa, especially for sub-Saharan Africa,

reporting to the Business Development Manager in company Headquarter in İstanbul.

The requirements for the position are;

?      A Bachelor’s Degree from relevant disciplines (preferably Civil Engineering) of the reputable universities,

?      Excellent in English in reading, writing and speaking (French is an asset)

?      15+ years experience in international business development in construction (familiarity in international tender preparation is an asset),

?      No restriction to travelling and living abroad; able to stay in the region for approximately 3 weeks a month and to travel in between the countries in the region,

?      Successful in human relations,

?      Advanced communication and analytical thinking skills,

?      Advanced organizational, presentation, planning and reporting skills,

?      Ability to plan and execute company events.

Job Description:

?      Following developments in the construction sector of the region, develop business opportunities in line with company policies,

?      To realize growth plans in line with company strategies, in terms of geographical areas as well as fields of expertise.

?      Carrying out business development activities by following new opportunities,

?      Collecting market data, reporting possible tenders with detailed data much in advance of their official announcement, establishing partnerships in accordance with the requirements of the projects to appear and company policies, and analyzing competitors, etc.

?      Establishing/developing business relations and performing regular visits with/to potential/actual clients as well as local and int’l companies as potential partners/subcontractors,

?      Reporting regularly local regulations and legislation (and changes if any), wages and availability of manpower, political direction and changes on each country basis, etc.

All in coordination with Business Development Manager and relevant managing positions in company Headquarter.
