Job Description      

• The main purpose of the role is to develop a Mediation solution for Fault Management products and develop automation tools to enhance adaptor productivity.
• Work on design, implementation, and maintenance of Network Management System product - mediation for south-bound and north-bound systems
• Prepare detailed design documents, perform coding, unit testing, and integration testing with minimal supervision.  Follow & Adhere to the development of guidelines/tools & processes daily.
• Build & develop an overall understanding of applications, design & its uses for the module worked/owned.
• Develops software solutions by studying requirements & discussing with team & PLM.
  
• Should be able to estimate efforts for assigned tasks, user stories, and features.

Technical

• Good telecom domain knowledge related to service assurance including vendor documents interpretation
•  Knowledge and work experience in Fault + Performance management and configuration management

•  Dedicated knowledge of data mediation engines, data loading, and parser definitions/functionality
•  Network management protocols knowledge: SNMP, CORBA, XML, TCP/IP, REST

•  Software and solution design experience with good knowledge of Object-Oriented Software.
•  Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Web applications/services and GUI, UNIX scripting/Perl, PL/SQL.
•  OS - UNIX OS (Solaris, Red Hat)

•  Worked on RDBMS i.e. Oracle, SQL Server.
•  Good Debugging Skill. Must be comfortable with designing and maintaining framework level code / Module in an individual capacity
