QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc.or MSc. degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering areas,
• Fluency in English is a must, 
• More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing in the automotive or leading edge technology Industry
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and it's core tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs especially advanced excel techniques
• Experienced in the use of 6-Sigma Quality Tools, QOS Management, GD&T, Measurement Systems Analysis
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing disciplines (Value Stream Mapping, Bill of Process, and Capacity Planning) and delivering Manufacturing Industrialization projects
• Excellent command of communication and negotiation skills to engage with suppliers of different culture, size and manufacturing technology
• Willing to live in Samsun
• Ability to Travel is Required (Domestic and international supplier sites)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Collaborate on sourcing decision to ensure capable supplier selection utilizing OEM standardized tools in assessing sourcing risks, developing robust industrialization plans to deliver best in class supplier performance.
• Engage assigned suppliers in implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to deliver successful Product launches with robust Production Parts Approval disciplines (PPAP) that meets Program launch milestones requirements.
• Manage and escalate supplier progress status following APQP and program launch reporting guidelines.
• Conduct on-site Supplier Evaluation Visits, supplier engagement process for new program parts with Engineering, Quality & Supplier cross-functional teams.
• Pro-actively drive Failure Mode Avoidance through robust execution of Manufacturing Feasibility assessments, PFMEA & Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis (GR&R), Capacity Analysis reviews (CAR), enforcing Health Charts & Manufacturing Process Standards compliance and validation of implementation on supplier's production/manufacturing floor.
• Engage OEM /Supplier Cross-Functional teams (Commercial Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Packaging, etc) in the resolution and escalation of issues affecting Launch Readiness (APQP), Capacity, Quality, Delivery and Warranty.
• Drive immediate supplier containment and resolution of quality and capacity issues utilizing disciplined problem solving, lean best practices and technical expertise to protect supply.
• Drive Supplier Quality Performance improvements in ongoing/current production Quality Rejects and Warranty.
