QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Institutional Communications Department. The position-holder oversees the digital strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization for Sabanci University. The position reports to Marketing and Institutional Communications Director.


The position is based on Tuzla campus of Sabanci University.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least Bachelor's degree. Master's degree in related field is a plus
  • At least 10 years’ experience in marketing management and 5 years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Previous experience in an digital marketing and advertising agency is an advantage
  • A proven record of success in delivering strategic digital marketing objectives and deliverables in a corporate/institutional environment
  • Experience in developing strategic plans, communication plans, quality controls, feedback mechanisms and project schedules
  • Experience in integrating digital marketing into multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Proven track of successful results in taking ownership and management of content and integrating digital marketing opportunities with CRM systems and corporate assets
  • Ability in working with tight deadlines and working on a variety of jobs simultaneously (multi-tasker)
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting, empowering and leading staff is desirable
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, including consultation, stakeholder negotiation, problem solving and effective communication with staff and external vendors
  • Familiarity with social media management, digital marketing and content management & measurement management tools (such as Google Analytics, Adwords, etc.)
  • Experience with content management within Drupal is desirable
  • Experience with photography and video production is desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs
  • No military service obligation for male candidates


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop, communicate and administer the University’s digital marketing strategy. Drive innovation in using digital marketing channels such as the web, online newspaper, email, social media and mobile devices to communicate and promote the University.
  • Manage corporate website content with a particular focus on Marketing, as well as faculty/office based content in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop social media marketing strategy and manage social media platforms for the University. Work with PR team and relevant stakeholders to ensure brand integrity and content relevance.
  • Develop framework for digital feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and communicate strategies and plans.


Digital Marketing:

  • Website content development, in accordance with the established design, website policy, and guidelines.
  • Digital marketing analytics including web traffic, social media insights and mobile device utilization.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives.


Technology and Innovation:

  • Diversification of digital activities as identified in industry research reports and internal analytics reports.
  • Analytics innovation including the identification of methods to attribute digital marketing activity to campaign performance.
  • Digital trend report generation including research findings and opportunities for the University for implementation. Communicate and disseminate to the wider university community
  • Measurement and performance optimization of digital marketing platforms as well as benchmark reporting.
