Goals 

• To meet the project deadlines & the company objectives  in terms of project cost, quality & customer satisfaction 

• To meet the expectations of the customers within the terms and conditions of the awarded contract

• To have full communication and coordination with other teams of SSG 

• To meet the objectives of the SSG Management Authorizations

Duties-General 

• Executing daily operations in responsibilities 

• Participate internal meetings and project meetings if required 

• Communicate in English, either verbal or written for business purpose only 

Responsibilities (from A to Z) 

• Maintain direct communication with Superintendents on projects that are being managed 

• Processing, updating date and tracking all change orders and keeping customer up to date with all schedule and cost implications of said change orders 

• Reporting customer meetings and sharing with the rest of the organization by written reports 

• Ensuring that he/she shall maintain good relationships with internal and external clients and supporting them in their inquiries, requests, expectations and claims 

• Receive and respond in a timely manner to customer related inquiries

• Scheduling and meeting with customers to accommodate raw material lot selection, review the aspects of the job, and answer any related questions Forecasts 

• Pre-Plan & forecast in order to prevent problems that may potential arise and resolve any emerging ones 

• Understanding the job description, processes and workflows that is assigned to him/her 

• Completing duties and responsibilities within the assigned deadline and according to the directives that are described in the processes, guide and training documentation and by management without an issue and within the expected deadline 

• Communicating and coordinating with other teams Health-Safety-Environment 

• Communicate and enforce Safety and Health Management Program Project Management 

• Select tools, materials and equipment for each project and track inventory 

• Meet contractual conditions of performance for the name of SSG 

• Review the work progress on daily basis by visiting the sites and the customer offices 

• Ensuring all documents and materials are maintained throughout a project 

• Ensuring that personnel are assigned to projects in order to make the best use of skills, developing personnel and staying within the estimated budget 

• Ensuring that all tools, equipment and company owned property are properly maintained with operator maintenance performed as required 

• Ensuring that he/she shall maintain the personnel schedule in order to comply with contract requirements and complete projects on time 

• Monitoring costs, including labor time and material in projects and reporting the actual costs with the comparison of the planned costs. 

• Managing the processes and site teams from start of project to final punch list 

• Participating project meetings and understanding its responsibilities & duties assigned 

• Actively visiting sites and the offices of the customers and report the actual progress in site works, site tasks and to-do lists with the comparison of the planned versions. 

• Overseeing all layouts and field measuring for shop drawings to inform the shop drawings draftsmen/draftswomen in Turkey, if needed. 

• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques 

• Conducting quality inspections and sharing with the rest of the organization by written reports 

• Manage submittals and shop drawings and working directly with draftsman and estimators to make sure that we are submitting items that are in our scope of work 

• Coordinating with the estimation department in Turkey for estimations, proposals and shop drawings 

• Sending the documents of the awarded projects to the estimation & proposal team that are approved by the customer for each awarded project. 

• Keep track of material deliveries and scheduling to site under coordination with the purchasing department 

• Coordinating with the purchasing department in Turkey and USA 

• Informing the material purchasing team for each awarded project, ensuring that the project documents are correct, updated and approved by the customer. 

• Reviewing & Checking the PO that is prepared by the purchasing department before the approval of CEO and transmittal to the supplier 

• Informing the purchasing department for the short-shipments; missing & incorrect deliveries and discrepancies within each shipment delivered either to the site or the workshop for issuing claims to the suppliers. 

• Informing the purchasing department for cracks, faults, broken materials, incorrect material in terms of size, finish, material type and composition delivered either to the site or the workshop for issuing claims to the suppliers. 

• Supporting purchasing department in managing the full life-cycle of material management before PO stage, after PO stage, material order stage, material delivery stage and finally site management stage 

• Supporting purchasing department in balancing out material priorities against budget and timelines 

• Coordinating with the finance & accounting team for the payments and shipments of materials on time Relations with Warehouse 

• Coordinating with the warehouse team in USA for stocking of materials, delivery of materials and stock management of materials correctly. 

• Providing weekly and monthly reports to the management for the updates and events within that period 

• Negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure best pricing possible. 

• Provide assistance with scheduling of shop production and installers as required to maintain shop efficiencies and ensure customer satisfaction Reporting 

• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status 

• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks in each project 

Qualifications 

• 2-5 years minimum experience as a project manager in the stone and tile trade or equivalent. 

• Ability to communicate & work well with others as a team. 

• Ability to read & understand construction documents, drawings, specifications & plan sets. 

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, including but not limited to ceramic & porcelain tile, marble, granite, terrazzo, building materials (i.e. waterproofing, thin-set, etc.) 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 

• Eligibility to work in USA (either you are U.S citizen or you have permanent residency or authorized to work).
