Quality Assurance Specialist

We're looking for Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist for our global businees partner, which is operating in retail industry. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performing product inspections 
• Inspecting factory quality operations and compliance to safety/EU requirements (REACH, EN71-1 etc)
• Reporting inspection results, defining corrective actions and supporting suppliers in development.
• Coordinating QA activities with merchandisers, quality colleagues and suppliers
• Making product risk assessments
• Training colleagues and suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in (International retail sourcing office) Manufacturing/RMG industry, with managerial and project management experience.
• Graduate Degree in Textile, Garment, or Industrial Engineering or in related field.
• Master’s degree or equivalent will be preferred.
• Certification ISO 9001 or Six Sigma would be preferred but not compulsory.  
• Knowledge in product quality/safety of Softline/Hardline products
• Knowledge/experience regarding factory audits on products and systems, preferably also GMP
• Desirably knowledge about high-risk household products such as EA, toys, FCM.
• Excellent command on written and spoken English and Turkish
• High attention to detail, data accuracy, prioritization and decision making.
• Flexible attitude to change.
