Internal Auditor

•     University degree, preferably in Economics / Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law or mathematics
•     2+ years of experience in an insurance company, bank / reputable audit company
•     Good knowledge of the Turkish insurance and pensions system framework
•     Experience in audit risk management, internal control, compliance, accounting and management reporting preferred
•     Good knowledge of MS Office
•     Fluency in both written and spoken English
•     IDEA tool and SQL knowledge is a plus
•     CIA, CRMA, CPA certificates are preferred
•     Able to work independently

Job Description

• Executes the audits according to the audit plan for both life and pensions business lines (planning, testing of controls, reporting, follow up)
• Identifies the associated business processes, risks, legal requirements, determines the adhesion to NN standards and tests the operating effectiveness of controls
• Provides input to audit scoping, contributes to the completion of audits and execution of field work
• Contributes to the creation of audit reports
• Contributes to the completion of audit work paper files and ensures that the quality of the work performed complies with internal and external requirements
• Maintains relationship with other auditors within NN Hayat ve Emeklilik and participates to audits abroad
• Prepares various reports according to the Corporate Audit Service department needs (internal within NN Insurance and for the local regulator on life and pensions)
• Attends various meetings and presents the outcome of the audit reports
• Collaborates closely with the other risk functions
