Image Processing / Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to play a key role in delivering state of the art image and video processing technologies which will be embedded to our Wide-Area Surveillance System.

Responsibilities:

• Research and development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms to be integrated into our Wide Area Surveillance System
• Support the complete software development lifecycle, including specifications, design, hardware interfacing, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation
  
• Participate in the development of imaging hardware specifications
  
• Contribute to system architecture
  

Qualifications:

• Solid Foundation in basic image processing techniques: enhancement, feature recognition and segmentation
• Knowledge and experience of computer vision and machine learning methods (deep learning is a plus)
  
• Experience with performance tuning of algorithms on embedded architectures
  
• Experience with video compression techniques and standards is a plus
  
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  
• Significant experience in C++ production software development and object-oriented programming is essential
  
• Hands on experience in video processing in MATLAB is desired
  
• Experience in GPU programming environments is desired
  
• Experience in OpenCL/OpenGL/OpenGLES programming is desired
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
