QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Modatimkar Group, a leading high-fashion garment buying agency working with UK and Spain high-end retailers, is looking for a Production Manager.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Textile Engineer
- Experienced in both Factory and commercial purchasing office areas
- At least 5 years experienced in the production manager in exporting companies preferably in garment/textile industry
- Worked with brands in the UK and European market
- Knowing and managing all processes very well from cutting to loading of products
- Have a good knowledge for product risk assessment at early stage of development to prevent potential issues in bulk production
- Capable of organizing and controlling of technical & quality activities ongoing in sampling and production
- Experienced and competent in efficiency and process improvement
- Experienced on creating action plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Experienced on communicating with customer.
- Must experience on working with merchandiser team
- Excellent analysing, organizing and coordination skills;
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Being result oriented and having a commercial viewpoint is an asset.
- Effective interpersonal skills in terms of communicating and managing the team and suppliers
- Needs to be a strong leader and understand real team work
- Agile thinking and fast execution in a dynamic growing business environment
- Good command of English (both verbal and written)
- No restrictions for travelling,
- No military obligation for male candidate.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Identify and resolve production planning problems
- Ensure that problems arising during production are eliminated
- Making process improvements for production and production control systems to meet business objectives
- Collecting and evaluating data on production and team performance
- Prepare reports on production processes for management and provide information on ways to increase productivity
- Manage and control the production processes to ensure the continuity of the process while meeting quality demands and delivery times
- Continuously evaluating and optimising supplier portfolio,
- Planning production & supply chain capacity,
- The position reports to General Manager
