We are looking for candidates to join our Financial Affairs team as a Sr. Accounting Specialist. The mission of this role is to build and develop an analytical perspective to drive Modanisa's growth long-term.

What we expect from you:

• Prepare all legal declarations such as VAT, concise, stamp, BA, BS, temporary tax and corporate tax returns,
• Checking monthly accounting closing procedures,
• Import, export files to follow the process to the system VAT return and complete the cost operations,
• To follow up purchase and sales invoices and to check compliance with legal regulations, (e-invoice, e Archive invoices are experienced in)
• Prepare a monthly trial balance and financial statements in accordance with Tax Procedure Law,
• To calculate fixed asset inflows and depreciation,
• Monthly update of provision and accrual records,
• To check all offsetting receipts and supporting documents every month except accounting records related to customer, purchase, finance,
• Coordination with tax, financial audit, internal audit, compliance auditors and provide the necessary documents for audit,
• To follow the laws and regulations related to tax and accounting issues,
• To enter and control the purchase, sales, income, and expense records among the group companies
• Official institutions and organizations (Tax Office, Trade Registry, Municipality, etc.) to organize and follow up the necessary legal transactions, correspondence.

What we are looking for:

• Graduates from 4-year education faculties of universities,
• With minimum 5 years’ experience in the accounting/accounting department of retail and T trading companies,
• One-order Account Master Plan,
• Have experience and knowledge about preparation of balance sheet-income statement and other financial statements,
• Mastered Tax Procedure Law, Turkish Commercial Code and General Accounting Practices,
• Preferably with some certificate,
• Know e-invoice and e-Archive issues,
• Experienced in cost accounting and inventory operations,
• Good use of MS Office applications and ERP (preferably Axapta),
• Can think proactively, solution-oriented, and analytically.
