Corporate Communications Associate

Mavi is seeking a motivated, sharp, energetic, organized and detail oriented professional to join the firm’s Customer Communications practice within the Marketing Department. In this position, you will find to play an important role in executing corporate communications that promote and protect awareness and appreciation and work on marketing projects across multiple disciplines, including digital, social media, special events of Mavi. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Senior Customer Communications Manager, the Associate will be responsible for assisting in administrative needs of marketing department inside Mavi, while helping to maintain and grow outward-facing communication initiatives,
• Provides complex internal and external communications materials/activities to promote and support the mission, objectives, and business goals of Mavi,
• Follows up and plans and edits publication of employee newsletters, presentations and related materials.
• Prepare news releases, fact sheets and bulletin letters as needed,
• Provides support and assist in planning internal/external meetings, customer events, partnerships, and customer-focused projects including content development and materials preparation,
• Take active role in solving customer issues working closely with Customer Relations department,
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience focus in Marketing, Communications is preferred,
• Excellent communicator who communicates effectively through written and oral communications and has exceptional skills in helping leaders and organizations define and develop messages that are clear, concise, creative and persuasive.
• Extremely strong writing and listening skills in order to draft clear and concise press materials, letters, correspondence within tight deadlines,
• Demonstrations of an intense desire to explore, discover and create team player with project-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects but also work independently once given direction.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
