University degree from a reputable university in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Minimum 8 years of experience in  a similar position

Broad understanding and deep knowledge of production techniques

Prior accountability for the following functions: employee development, SHEQ, cost control, capital project management, facility upkeep and logistics

Good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools and systems

The ability to manage change and pursue continuous learning and improvement

Strong interpersonal and team work skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and      externally

Fluent in English, German would be an asset

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities;

Managing the organization of the plant, managing multi-shift production and operation, fully meeting the objectives in terms of the production program, quality, production volume and the cost.

Materials and order management, planning and procurement.

Responsible for driving continuous improvement regarding costs, quality, delivery, cycle time and asset management through Lean practices.

Demonstrates business leadership throughout the organization to create and achieve strategic and tactical objectives for the operation. Responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing a Strategic Manufacturing and Operations Plan that supports productivity and financial objectives.

Develop/manage CAPEX budgets and manage financial performance of operation areas.

Manage all issues associated with facility operations, maintenance, logistics.

Motivates and leads cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve the objectives of the company.
