MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 120 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a TECHNICAL OFFICE MANAGER with the qualifications below;

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related
• 15 years’ experience in Construction and Engineering industry
• Extensive experience in operations, design, engineering, site works, construction/site management, project evaluation and technical office management
• Strong track record of successfully completed projects of all types and sizes. Strong knowledge of ISO Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing
• Strong organisational, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills. Capable of leading teams and managing conflicts
• Strong client/stakeholder management skills
• Capable of managing cross functional teams and multiple projects
• Capable of reading drawings and schematics
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• In-depth technical engineering knowledge
• Ability to work across cultural and organisational boundaries and deliver under pressure

JOB DESCRIPTION;

• Supervising and reviewing the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel
• Planning and maintaining project budget and schedules
• Maintaining organised and detailed records and documents of all projects (i.e. working drawings, quantity surveying, purchase orders … etc) and coordinating with different teams to get these documents issued
• Taking part in the project management review and risk management review
• Providing technical and administrative information to staff working on a project and liaises with the Project Manager, Site Manager and Project Director to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions
• Working alongside the Project Manager to update project tenders/submittals, contracts, time delivery schedules and project financial documentation to ensure the delivery of projects on time and within budget as well as maintaining healthy cash flow levels for the financing of the project till its successful completion.
• Taking part in selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for projects. Reviewing subcontractors' invoices.
• Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals
• Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities
• Review third-party invoices & client invoices
•  Following up with suppliers, contractors, clients … etc. during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments.
