QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Yıldız Holding, one of the largest and fast growing groups of Türkiye, is looking for "Planning Manager" who will work in Supply Chain Department in Marsa located in Kurtköy, Istanbul. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below.

• University degree from engineering (preferably from Industrial Engineering),

• Min 5-8 years of experience in a similar management position at manufacturing, 

• Advanced level of both written and spoken English, 

• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, 

• Experience with ERP systems, 

• Analytical thinking and strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required, 

• Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal-communication skills, 

• Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to review and interpret concepts and to communicate necessary actions and requests clearly and concisely, 

• No restrictions for travel.

 JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Responsible for the Demand planning, Inventory management, Line scheduling and Materials requirements planning of manufacturing plants at İstanbul & Adana.

• Establish and continuously improve S&OP process to secure forecast accuracy and increase customer service level. 

• Close collaboration with Sales team to do the production plan of make to stock, make to order products and get priorities to do necessary revision at the production plan. 

• Laisse with Manufacturing plants to get high OTIF performance of both domestic and international customer orders. 

• Managing of production planning parameters in parallel with the changing demand and process dynamics. 

• Managing short and long term planning & reporting process for the finished goods and raw materials in line with master production schedule according to the capacity constraints. 

• Working with purchasing team for the stock management of raw materials to achieve on time delivery at optimum cost with optimum inventory levels. 

• Key process owner for the new ERP system implementation for Stock management and Production Planning modules. 

• Reporting to Supply Chain Director and leading the development of planning team. 

• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs. 

• Monitoring and improving KPIs: Forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, order lead times, product availability and service level to customer.
