QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Manuchar is a global trading, logistics and distribution company headquartered in Antwerp (Belgium). With operations in more than 140 countries and own local infrastructure in 40 countries, we are a global leader in international trade and logistics. As part of our dynamic expansion in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, we opened a new office in Turkey as from February 2016.
 
Manuchar Turkey is looking to hire an enthusiastic colleague to join our dynamic team. Your main role will be to handle all operational process for our import and export business, based in our newly established office in Atasehir, Istanbul.

You will be responsible for;

  • Organizing and following up import – export operations in coordination with our headquarters in Belgium, suppliers, customers and other involved parties in all around the world.
  • Preparing shipping documents and invoices 
  • Coordination with warehouses and custom brokers 
  • Assisting and informing our customers on regular basis about the operational process
  • Preparing management reports on your field 
  • Planning of shipments, collecting price offers from shipping lines/transport companies and leading negotiations, when necessary
  • After specializing in operations, possibility to undertake more responsibilities on different tasks within our organization

 

 Qualifications;

  • At least a Bachelor degree, preferably in Foreign Trade, Economy, Business Administration, Accounting or related majors
  • Experience in transportation, import and export activities is important but if you are a new graduate and seeking a great start to your career, we will provide you necessary training
  • Good knowledge of international trade terms, requirements and documentation 
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and particularly Excel 
  • Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken 
  • Self-starter, commercially-minded and self-motivated to go the extra mile 
  • Ability to work independently while being good team player and take advanced responsibilities once necessary
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
