 We are currently seeking a ''Cost Controller'' for our local company, for which  providing Hospitality Insdustry.

Job Description;

You will assume a pivotal role in managing financial operations by ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize the company's expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines while maintaining financial stability. You will play a key role in analysing costs, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance the company's profitability.

• ·       Developing cost-efficient solutions to implement changes.
• ·       Implementing accounting software and automating cost control systems       
•         Study, analyse and report on all variances relating to costs and inventory.
•         Define minimum and maximum stock levels, par stock management systems.
•         Define minimum and maximum stock levels, par stock management systems.

•         Supervise the daily receiving and storekeeping activities.
•         Perform the physical count of beverage stocks and month-end inventory.
•         Prepare and verify reports i.e officer & entertainment checks,
•        Work closely with Purchasing Department to monitor for all pending or partial deliveries.

• ·       Cost Control and Monitoring: Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• ·       Accounting Records and Analysis: Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• ·       Cost Analysis and Optimization:Analyzes costs associated with procurement, operations, and other expenditures, seeking opportunities for cost optimization. Conducts regular cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and initiatives.
• ·       Recording and Reporting: Maintains historical records by filing documents. Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
• ·       Confidentiality and Security:Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements;

• Minimum two years' experience in Finance Assistance or relevant role, in the Hospitality Industry.
• Turkish Nationality.
• Degree in Finance, Economy related departments. 
• Proficiency in MS Office is required; familiarity with Finance Systems will be considered a plus.
• Good command of the English language. Knowledge of additional languages will be viewed as a beneficial skill.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment of a face passed environment.
• Extrovert personality with strong interpersonal and people skills, complemented by excellent organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and the ability to remain efficient under pressure.
