• Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university – Master’s Degree is a plus,
• Excellent command of English,
• At least 8 years of legal experience in multinational companies or legal firms giving legal and consultancy services to multinational clients, is required,
• Expertise in data protection laws and practices, including deep understanding of GDPR and knowledge and experience in the fields of competition law, intellectual property law, IT law, and contract law,
• Experience in a legal, audit, or risk management role,
• Strong project management skills,
• Ability to work with strict deadlines, effectively under pressure, and manage sensitive and confidential information,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail,
• Good knowledge of MS Office Applications,
• Have no obstacles to travel in and out of Turkey,
• Dynamic and result-oriented with high awareness,
• Prone to agile working principles

What we expect from the Senior Lawyer;

• A well-qualified lawyer with experience in regulatory and legal compliance matters,
• Ensure that company policies comply with codes of practice such as Data Protection Law and GDPR if necessary,
• Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the organization,
• Deliver training across all business units to staff members who are involved in data handling or processing,
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all types of contracts,
• Provide legal support concerning legal issues, business transactions,
• Conduct legal research and draft reports, opinions, correspondence, and other legal documents,
• Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks,
• Follow up on the new laws, and regulations related to the Company’s activities,
• Coordinate external law firms
