JOB TITLE

Information Technology Manager, reporting to CFO

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who want to gain broad and ‘real life’ experience in information technology management in a high-quality international company to develop their careers. The role offers exposure to a wide range of tasks, within a great work environment.  We are looking for a visionary yet practical leader with broad knowledge and capabilities. While the focus of the role will be evolving somewhat over time in response to changes in the company’s dynamic business environment, current priorities include the following:

Assess options for alternative ERP solution, and plan for implementation in the next 12-18 months

Working with the group’s global IT team to establish better and more efficient ways of meeting the company’s day-to-day IT needs

Firm up the company’s risk management processes, including an improved emergency response plan

Engage with key stakeholders within the company to map out gaps and opportunities related to the current information technology environment

Work with the Finance team and other staff to unleash opportunities in terms of how technology and software are used to create value

Improve the company’s cost position by finding new and better ways to work with the company’s IT contractor resources

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Competencies

Degree in information technology or related subject, or working towards qualification

5 years’ work experience or more

Strong and broad knowledge and experience in software and hardware systems, including coding

Hands-on experience in ERP systems

Strong spoken and written English

Personal Skills

Ability to work with people of all hierarchical levels

Good visionary and analytical thinking, yet able to prioritise and get things done

Ability to take ownership and be accountable

Passion for information technology and its role in making people’s lives better

Impeccable integrity
