- University degree in textile, textile engineering or a relevant department
- Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising role for jersey production preferably in UK market.
- Fluency in English
- Expert in MS Office
- Solid experience in negotiating with factories during order placement process
- Good team player and a leader
- Hard working, well organized and result-oriented
- Decisive and quick problem solver
- Availability for travel within Turkey and abroad
- No military obligation for male candidates
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Following customer’s manuals and procedures and giving training to factories.
- Taking official orders (Pos) from the customers and placing to the factories.
- Creating and working on Critical Path (CP) with factories, keeping informed the customers. Having perfect communication with both factories and customers.
- Following up all production steps (lab dip, base fabric, base test, bulk fabric, bulk test, all sample submissions, all tests, fit approvals, cutting, print, embroidery, sewing, ironing, quality control, packaging etc..) and informing customers.
- Getting all necessary approvals from the customers promptly
- Informing customers immediately regarding delays on planned production steps. Negotiate with both sides in case of order cancellation, reducing quantity, discount etc..in order to minimize the damage.
- Stepping in to overcome bottlenecks.
- Negotiate the cost increase occurs during the production ( radical measurement change, workmanship change etc..) with the customer without stopping the production flow.
- Working closely with Quality Assurance team.
- Organising shipments. Informing exporter regarding all agreements between customer and factories such as discount, fast truck, air shipment, partial shipments etc..
- Inquiring and finalising all complaints after shipments. Informing factories about return, debit etc..
