Purpose of Role :

Finance Specialist with an end-to-end ownership for managing, recording and reporting daily financial transactions  of a rapidly growing new generation group of companies who are operating as a manufacturer and trader in home textile industry mainly through internet market places in the US and in several EU countries. 

Reporting to the Group CFO at HQs in Istanbul, the position holder will be held responsible for management and reporting of all financial activities of our entities in TR.

Responsible for supporting the Group CFO in day-to-day finance matters with a hands-on approach, the month end-close processes, driving the budget and forecast processes, this role represents a great opportunity to further your career by providing business support and financial reporting leadership to the business.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Delivery & Performance Management

• Works with the Group CFO and with appropriate business units for information requirements and timelines for reporting.
• Ensures accurate analysis of actual business performance in the revenue and OPEX.
• Proactively contributes to projects, conduct studies with performance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare ad hoc requests from the Group CFO.

Management of Financial Activities

• Acts as the main point of contact in document and relationship management with the financial institutions,
• Manages all banking operations, reconciliation of bank accounts,
• Controls bank statements, entering and reconciling all banking transactions into the accounting system and other relevant reporting tools,
• In the light of active cash flow monitoring and reporting, tracks all cash flows (credit flows, payments and collections) of the company and providing accurate reports as deemed necessary,
• Delivers accounts receivables, overdue and ageing reports, follows up collections in accordance with the collection processes and procedures,
• In charge of preparation of the periodic payment lists for approval and financial forecasting & reporting issues.
• Supports Group CFO and Local Management Teams to produce weekly cash flow projections, monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Ensures preparation of financial liabilities reporting package to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.
• Prepares monthly income and expense analysis,
• Prepares payment reports and perform entry of payments to banks for approval
• Supports Accounting Department on financial accounting records and current account reconciliations,
• Supports the periodical closing and GL reconciliation process during moth end and year end close processes.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Hands-on daily support and responsibility in primary book-keeping activities for the US legal entity from Istanbul HQs.
• Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
• Continuously monitors different cost categories (Variable & Fixed) to ensure appropriate reporting.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Banking, Statistics, Engineering etc. is required.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Overall knowledge about various types of credit facilities, cheques, BoEs, guarantee letters and relevant laws and regulations.
• 5 years of experiencein a similar position.
• Strong understanding of accounting software principles with a learning on the fly mind set.Prior Logo Go3 experience would be preferred
• Excellent computer skills with advanced Excel expertise
• Advanced analytical mind set, with number crunching ability.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in executing
• High business awareness, able to handle multiple tasks, acts with a sense of urgency
• Self-driven and structured with the ability to cope with pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive can-do mindset.
