QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

At Koç University we are looking for a new colleague in the position of Recruitment Specialist / Assistant Specialist with the following qualifications. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources and recruitment experience preferably in consultancy companies 
  • Self-motivation and positive attitude with high level of energy
  • Proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure with deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Service oriented and results driven with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work-environment
  • Strong technical know how and experience on competency based interviewing techniques
  • Knowledge and experience in different assessment tools
  • A strong technical know how on personality inventories, and other verbal and quantitative talent recruitment support tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Execute full cycle recruitment process for administrative staff positions and ensuring all relevant vacancies are filled appropriately
  • Prepare and post jobs applications to the portals
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, portals, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct competency based interviews using various reliable selection tools / methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Provide timely information for candidates and managers at all stages of the recruitment process
  • Welcome and support new employees to the organization by conducting orientation
  • Plan and realize “staying interviews” with new employees and managers to make sure their adaptation process is in line
  • Actively involved in HR activities and stay in touch with all HR units to assure that communication channels are aligned
