The company was founded with a 51% Kale Group and 49% Pratt & Whitney partnership, its main field of activity is the manufacturing of aircraft engine parts and subassembly groups.

We are looking for a  ‘Quality Engineer’  in accordance with the following specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Min. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance,
• Knowledge in quality system standard AS9100 (ISO 16949 is an asset),
• Proficient using Microsoft Office tools,
• Good knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods,
• Good knowledge of problem solving tools (8-D, Ishikawa, 5Why) ,
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, Gage R&R, etc)
• Good written and oral communication skills in English,
• Strong oral and written communication skills,
• Team work ability in a multicultural organization,
• Having a valid driving licence & no obstacle for travelling,
• Knowledge of CANIAS is an asset
• No military service obligation for male candidates. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Checking, planning and validation of Customer Quality Requirements for new POs,
• FAI (First Article Inspection) inspections preparations/coordination, preparation of all FAI package and taking Customer approval,
• Conduct Quality Engineering related activities such as process flow charting, problem, investigation/analysis, standards and procedure updating/development, report writing, and presentation development in support of daily activities,
• Perform and present daily quality KPIs and lead necessary corrective actions,
• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes,
• PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, KPC and Control Plan preparation/validation,
• Conduct Quality system and special process audits as required,
• Supporting lean manufacturing system,
• Providing overall leadership for quality and reliability of products,
• Identifying root cause through data analysis for preventive and corrective actions,
• Coordinate and take all necessary actions for goods returned from Customer,
• Taking active role at new part launches.
