We are looking for a ‘Gauge / Fixture Design Specialist’ for our company which produces aircraft engine parts in Aegean Free Zone, Izmir.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelors degree in Technical Departments, 
• Min 5 years of experience in similar positions, 
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and blue print interpretation,
• NX knowledge is a must (AutoCAD knowledge is additionally preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of Functional Gauges and CMM fixtures,
• Gauge R&R and MSA knowledge and experience,
• Manufacturing methodology and CMM measurement knowledge is a plus,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, 
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills, 
• No military obligation for male candidates. 

JOB DESCRIPTION  

• To perform the design studies and manage Customer approval processes of Gauges and Functional Control Apparatus,
• To participate in buy-off process and validation/verification of the designed equipment,
• To prepare user instructions for the designed gauges
• To determine the measurement fixture / apparatus requirements for CMM measurement, to take part in their designs and buy-off processes,
• To create 2D technical drawings of 3D gauges/fixture models,
• To participate in the determination of the necessary measurement equipment for the inspection of manufactured parts,
• To determine the critical levels of the characteristics in the technical drawings and to support the determination of the frequency and measurement levels of the relevant characteristics,
• Being part of problem solving activities.
