QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What you will do 

The Sales Manager, BMS is a key role reporting to the GM, Turkey & Caspian Region. You will be based in Istanbul and will be accountable for all sales activities necessary for the profitable growth of the Controls business with our present and target reseller network and multiple industries including commercial, retail and hospitality. 

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible to explore market opportunities, develop and implement strategies to maximize margins while increasing market share in the region. You will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your leadership experience coupled with your industry knowledge in Controls business in Turkey & Caspian Region to deliver our business objectives.

How you will do it 

As Sales Manager, you will be using your extensive knowledge about the Building Management Systems products in the region and accordingly to develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of Metasys and FX brands market landscape, dynamics, regulatory requirements, competition, sales channels and market growth strategies and create plans to close the gap. You will be also responsible for building and implementing account management strategies for key, target, managed and maintained owner, consultant and contractor accounts focused on the data center industry with local sales representatives where they exist. Builds the “best at every customer” relationships through directly employed sales professionals leading to market share growth in equipment, controls and service offerings. 

As a Sales Manager, you will be developing programs, tools, training and on-going support to maximize the productivity and effectiveness of a Building Management Systems focused sales team. You’ll embed a culture of cross functional teaming to build employee engagement and best practice sharing. 

What we look for 

  • Required Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 
  • Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience with Controls products business
  • Proven track record in achieving sales/business results 
  • Has an aptitude to develop, set & execute a sales strategy and rolling sales plans 
  • Ability to understand and drive your own & team performance 
  • Proficient to manage & influence internal & external stakeholders across a number of different levels 
  • Diligent and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and enhance performance 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills especially the ability to scrutinize data 
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience 
  • Proficient to present at senior level 
  • Professional fluency in English language 

Preferred 

  • Experienced in using Salesforce 
  • Proven experience in reseller channel 
  • International regional sales management experience
