What you will do

The Product Manager for Air Handling Systems is responsible for managing the Air Handling Units Product Line activities in alignment with strategies while creating value with our product offerings. You will be located in Izmir, Turkey and will cover the whole MEA region while working closely with Engineering/Procurement/Quality/Production Team in Izmir Factory, the Product Development Team in China, Product Team in Dubai, Project Development and Sales Engineers across the region.

Major responsibilities include managing product, supporting product team, sales and project development team and managing product line profitability and overseeing cost-out/value-engineering initiatives. Significant global, cross-functional interaction and project management is required across the organization with global sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and other functions. 

How you will do it

As a Product Manager, you will be the voice of the market and customer within the factory, acquire a thorough understanding of the needs of the Air Handling Systems market. You will deeply understand the competitive environment and our product’s competitive position; develop and implement product line strategies and product portfolio to serve global market while optimizing product life-cycle and overall product line profitability. You will make a competitive analysis and pricing strategy.

You will forecast for production planning purposes, drive and measure product launch and make portfolio sales training presentations to regions. You will track and assess product metrics for financial performance, drive product line rationalization (end of life) and product margin improvement.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years minimum experience in HVAC equipment and systems in product or program management, marketing, application or sales
• Demonstrable business management skills in a product management environment and technically savvy, possessing strong knowledge of field and business practices relating to the identified products
• Presenting to executive level leadership
• Good with financial statements
• Good computer literacy
• Fluent English skills
• Driving license          
• Able to travel around 20% 

Preferred

• Ability to envision and introduce creative tools for fast and effective interaction with the field combining high technical complexity and commercial interests in a seamless and user-friendly manner.
