QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Night Manager who reports directly to the Front Office Manager and is responsible for supervising the receptionists, operators and bell team

·         Bachelor’s degree from a university related to Hospitality Management or hotel studies
·         Minimum 2 years or more of experience in a similar role in a chain hotel
·         Very good command of written and spoken English and Turkish
·         Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Opera PMS
·         Knowledge of hospitality operations, including emergency evacuation drills
·         Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask
·         Solid communication, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
·         Must be able to manage and work overnight shifts
·         Male candidates must have completed military service




İŞ TANIMI

  • Represents property management in responding to any guest or host incident.
  • Operates the Front Office properly and efficiently
  • Supervises and assists receptionist with their duties.
  • Ensures that all night audit procedures are completed to both quality and time standards each night.
  • Communicates important and timely company information to the overnight team each night as to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Responsible for initial and ongoing training and development of overnight hosts in addition to holding host accountable for executing their departmental standards.
  • Acts in the absence of Department Heads on the overnight shift, and communicates incidents proactively and effectively with Front Office Manager.
  • Assists any department in need of assistance on the overnight shift and communicates incidents with respective department heads.
  • Maintains a strong working relationship with all departments to support property operations and goals and to expedite the resolution of any problems that may arise through the general operation of the property.
  • Communicates any variations to the established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
  • Communicates any guest service related issues to the rest of the hotel in a timely manner, as appropriate.
  • Strives to improve service performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensures Front Office hosts’ compliance with all established policies and procedures.
  • Supervises the management of debtors, group and individual guest invoicing and cash operations. 
  • Constantly observes host interactions with guests and provides timely feedback as to develop host and improve service levels.
  • Coordinates and supervises daily arrivals and departures as well as Front Office service flow.
  • Ensures the house is blocked properly and that arrival rooms will be ready on time, keeping in communication with Housekeeping.
  • Communicates VIP arrivals and in-house to Front Office team, and meets and engages with VIPs both at arrival as well as while they are in-house.
  • Performs all night audit functions and completes overnight checklist.
