QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of the European companies that is a family –run business which operates in health care devices. Their strongest points are focusing on R&D, vision and social responsibility those make them successful as a global player in their field.

Now, for their growing operation in Turkey, we are looking for an all-round Finance & Operations Manager in Istanbul who will report directly to GM and HQ.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner to the GM in all operational and finance topics.
  • Process optimization of the daily operations & Cost ownership for the entire operations except Sales and Marketing
  • CSC – Customer Service Center: Front & Back Office for customer and partners (dealers) for new product and technical service
  • HR, Office Management, including management of the technical service process
  • Referee for all the office staff
  • Primary company representative for managing banking, bonding, and insurance transactions
  • Provide financial leadership regarding all financial matters.
    • Accounting, invoicing, collection, credit control,… & managing the monthly close and reporting process in a timely and accurate manner
    • Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments. Development of financial long-and short-range plans
    • Execution of internal controls, policies and procedures
    • Coordination of budgeting and analysis requirements determined by the corporate officers
    • Implementation of all company's group strategies in the operational areas & liaise with headquarter on all operations processes
    • Contact person for banks, auditors, tax advisors, …

Minimum Qualifications and/or Experience:

  • Proven Experience in several of the areas of operations (Customers service, procurement, logistics, HR, …)
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and leadership skills 
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English 
  • Minimum 10 years' demonstrated experience in accounting and financial management of full operation field and minimum 5 years team management experience
  • Minimum bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Management 
  • Advance knowledge and experience of MS O?ce applications and ERP systems. INFOR LN preferred
  • Good knowledge about operational and business processes for sales companies 
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, Budgeting, Tax, and Treasury 
  • Knowledge in import and export administration 
  • No travel restrictions
