R&D Manager

Job description:

• Enhance the capabilities of the R&D organization including people, methods and techniques, equipment, and quality
• Conducting competitive product design and development activities.
• Investigating new products in domestic and foreign markets
• Manage multiple priorities and the changing dynamics of projects and organizational needs
• Defines project specifications; analyzes products or components of competitors and coordinates internal and external developers who operates on products.
• Development of R & D projects and realization of tests in accordance with the standards, efficient operation of the product and ensuring its reliability.
• Prioritize time, budget, and resources to meet the project needs
• Always follow up changes in industry via customer interviews, observation, competitive analysis and literature,
• Educate employees on strategies, culture, purpose, mission, vision and other critical knowledge
• Remain current with new and cross industry technologies and practices, as well as evolving external requirements that impact design, execution, analysis and reporting,
• Collaborating with production department to identify potential issues & improvements in product performance

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate is/has;   
• Bachelor’s and Master degree in chemistry or polymer departments. PhD is plus,
• Minimum 10 years of R&D experience, polyurethane and polymer experience preferred
• Team managements of 3 years is a must,
• Self motivated, organized, detail-oriented, analytical mindset and research skills, having great technical knowledge to supervise the team,
• Proven experience in Project Management, and previous written project experience,
• Pro-active for creating new projects and/or improving existing conditions and processes,
• Fluent in English,
