QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

PEOPLE & CULTURE COORDINATOR

Under the guidance of the Director of People & Culture within the limits of Hyde Bodrum policies and procedures; assist and provide assistance for all employees in the property.  Contribute to the desired work culture around the mission of Hyde Bodrum.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure new colleague process is completed for the new hires.
  • Follow through recruitment process; issue contracts to new colleagues, correspondence with the application, update the status of applicant with concern department and ensure the procedure are documented.
  • Conducts P&C induction for new colleagues.
  • Sends out status change notification to concerned departments.
  • Conduct and collate all exit interview feedback for L1 colleagues.
  • Organize the monthly colleague committee meeting and take meeting minutes.
  • Issue all People & Culture related letters and certificate.
  • Assist with interviews and reference checks for level 1 positions.
  • Preparing weekly schedule and monthly timesheet.
  • Responsible for processing FL orders for the P&C team.
  • Assist colleagues with their day-to-day queries and questions.
  • Responsible for Colleague of the Month process.
  • Assist the colleague with daily administration / documentation request.
  • Responsible in handling Leaver’s process (Resignation, Transfer, Termination contract), ensure the clearance process in order.
  • Travel Coordinator to support all the Business Trips purpose.
  • Assisting Housing Manager in supporting accommodation related and employee relations during his absences. 
  • Maintaining and updating notice board.
  • Maintaining and updating INES system

General Responsibilities

  • Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and high standard of social skills.
  • Promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
  • Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
  • Adhere to Hyde Bodrum rules and regulations at all times. 

Occasional Responsibilities

  • In the absence of the Housing Manager, ensure the smooth running of the Housing Department.
  • Assist with creative poster campaigns and all events organized by the HR Department.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Turkish and English
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to multi-task        

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University education

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a similar People & Culture role is desirable within a 5 star hotel
