GLOBAL Hydro operates globally in the sector of hydroelectric power technology. The company has special expertise in the sectors Kaplan, Pelton and Francis turbines and operates as an integrated system supplier. All services in the area of electrical engineering, which are required for construction of a hydroelectric power plant, are offered as turnkey and water-to-wire solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Project management of international plant engineering contracts

·         Professional project communication with Customer

o   Scope of supply (division of works and supply)

o   Detailed Time schedule all project phases

o   Punch listing

·         Leading of a intercultural Project-Team in an international company structure

·         Developing of detailed specification for electro mechanical equipment within the scope of supply

·         Pre-selection and qualification of international sub suppliers

·         Working with Turkish governmental institutes for local incentive regulations

·         Technical discussions on conceptual layout drawings as well as electrical single line diagram for power distribution with Customer and suppliers

·         Project meetings in client’s office or on job site

·         FAT for scope of supply with client’s attendance

·         Project controlling (time & costs) and frequently reporting to management

·         Scheduling of whole project incl. engineering, equipment delivery, installation and commissioning

·         Claim management according to contract

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Electronics engineering

·         3+ years of experience in project management including all aspects of planning, process development tech team management, execution and reporting

·         Excellent command of written  and spoken English

·         Experience in reading and developing of Single line diagrams (SLD)

·         Experience on hydro turbine, power plants and after sale services

·         Reading and basic understanding electrical wiring diagrams

·         Understanding of commercial project reporting

·         Working with Turkish governmental institutes e.g. for incentive regulations

·         Proactive, effective at following tasks up, highly planned and organized

·         Active driver, willing to travel
