PROJECT MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Civil /Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of ten (20) years of experience on-site
  • A graduate of engineering, architecture or construction management with eight (10 ) years of experience or ten (15) years of experience.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of design principles, budget, cost control, scheduling, construction means and methods and codes
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Excellent planning and coordination of site works

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for managing the project designs including selection and management of design consultants, preparing methods of statements, managing the design within approved project budgets and ensuring that all design documents are fully coordinated
  • Directs the creation and/or implementation of program policies and procedures to satisfy company policies and client contract specifications, including preparing work and quality plans.
  • Responsible for all technical, contractual, safety, and administrative works for under the contract. Additionally, will be responsible for reviewing and approving project plans, overseeing staff selection, monitoring contract and task funds and schedules, and implementing QC processes.
  • Reviewing budget, schedule, and performance reports
  • Reviewing corrective actions and lessons learned to assess the effectiveness of resolutions
  • Allocating resources for quality management The Project Manager provides leadership and direction to the project staff and is responsible for executing all phases of the project by efficiently applying the full resources of the project team.
  • Responsible for the technical, financial, administrative, and client-related aspects of the project and the project team.
  • Establishes the objectives, expectations, and scope of work to be performed.
  • Serves as liaison for communications with the client and subcontractors
  • Arranges for staff and other necessary resources, with support/endorsement of program resources, to execute the task order.
  • Organizes, directs, and manages personnel and resources, and establishes clear lines of communication within organization.
  • Supervises preparation and approval of project-specific procedures, work plans.
  • Lead all relations between the Client, Contactor and Consultant,
  • Lead the planning and implementation of Project,
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget and project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Manage Quality Assurance Plans and Health and Safety Plan
