Role Summary/Purpose:

The role is responsible for the preparation the tendering for GE Grid Solutions Services, make the preparation of our technical and commercial offer, and optimize our cost after  working with our supplying units, with our engineering and our operations team to finalize our best solution, and transmit to our sales team our offer in time after getting all necessary validations and ensure compliance and be accountable for keeping risk profile within the region norms and standards. 


Essential Responsibilities:

Commercial Action Plan (CAP) 

  • Active contribution to unit/region CAP preparation and execution.      
  • Support Service Commercial Team to define/track targets and metrics to measure the efficiency of the activity Cooperation between partners/suppliers/operations team for bid preparation
  • Handle risk and opportunity analysis, contract scope and T&C negotiations
  • Bid rate, Capture rate, Win/loss analysis preparation to understand the efficiency and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders

Compliance and EHS 

  • Ensure all sales and tendering activities fit company compliance policy. Monitor continuously partners, suppliers and subcontractors’ activities from compliance and EHS perspective
  • Ensure EHS be top priority in customer mind, as well as commercial team’s.

 Digitalisation and Simplification

  • Maintain the SPEAK4GE data quality
  • Simplify how we do business (commercial process, internal interfaces..) to improve the customer experience

Team Management

  • Be able to work in matrix organisations
  • Coordinate relationship with other departments (operations, sourcing, logistics, legal..)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • RFQ analysis and RAM validation preparation
  • Site and customer visit when necessary to clarify the scope with coordination with sales team
  • Launch Go NoGo action as per Grid rules -Identification of Supplying Units, and launch the RFQ’s
  • Working with engineering team to clarify our scope
  • Working with sourcing team for external suppliers solutions
  • Customer-focused mind-set with demonstrated ability to understand and respond quickly to customer needs;
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated -Technical competency in Grid Solutions products and Solutions
  • Experienced in opportunity management / bid management
  • Experience with customer specification review, Terms & Conditions, public procurement law, proposal development and leading a sales effort
  • Good working knowledge of commercial processes, coordination of different stakeholders (operations, sourcing, partners,..) to create bid/proposal from scratch.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal communications, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Negotiation and sales skills, sales experience in complex projects
  • Ability to perform effectively in a matrix management.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented,
  • Flexibility in continuously changing business environment;
  • No travel restrictions, ability to travel as needed
  • Experience within LTMC and transactional services businesses
  • Experience managing large complex deals with multi-functional interactions.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in sales/tendering/business development in similar sector or business
  • Project management and team management skills will be a plus

Educational:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent in written & spoken English and Turkish
  • Good command of MS Office applications, salesforce.com. SAP knowledge is a plus

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
