Tendering Lead Engineer (French Speaking)

Manage offer process in conjunction with relevant departments in the unit to achieve unit's objectives, contribute building commercially attractive costs on time.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Understand the RFQ / customer demands and distribute them to relevant departments
• Selecting potential tenders worth to be quoted considering the chance of success (go/no go decision); proceeding all necessary actions to collect the needed technical and commercial data in order to prepare the proper quotation.
• Timely allocation of incoming tender with engineering to make sure that ATT delivers COS + Douc on time
• Preparing the market & customer oriented COS
• Participating on negotiation meetings when required by Region and successful concluding in order to secure the order and proceeding to all necessary actions to dispatch the order within the unit, including preparing the order sheet with all necessary data for distribution to all relevant departments
• Monitoring competition’s price and strategies with the support of the region.
• Disciplined usage of existing tools i.e. İnquiry statistics, EHS, APS for reporting purpose.
• Strict on time transfer from commercial to TPM acc. to the PTR instructions
• Encourage the region sales team to achieve PL's objectives.
• Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Showing exemplary behaviours on EHS. Coaching, supporting and monitoring of EHS implementations in his/her team and area of responsibility. Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages.

• Tendering rules and tools=> Complex
• Transformers cost components, finance indicators=> Broad
• Electrical and mechanical design rules and tools=> Basic

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of IT, engineering, scientific or other technical experience)
• At least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering position
• Min 2+ years design-tendering – proposal management experience
• Market and business understanding with technical sales experience
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English and French
