Center Director

Gaziantep Sanayi Odası Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi

Center Director with the following qualifications will be recruited by Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to operate the “Applied Competence and Digital Transformation Center“ (Model Factory) to be established in Gaziantep.

Qualificaitons

·         Only national applications,

·         Graduated from Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical-Electronics and Management Engineering,

·         Preferably have a masters or MBA in Engineering

·         Preferably trained in Lean Manufacturing used techniques and took part in Lean Production related projects

·         At least 3 years of work experience

·         Fluency in English (reading,speaking,writing)

·         Excellent Use of MS Office programs, Windows-based applications, integrated web-based management systems, spreadsheets and databases effectively preferably using solidwork or Autocad

·         At least 3 years of work experience in process improvement, transformation, business development and Lean Production techniques etc. for industrial enterprises.

·         Preferably experience in marketing

·         At least 2 years of experience in developing and/or providing training and consultancy programs/services.

·         Experience in adult education

·         Knowledge in quality management systems and standards

·         At least 2 years of project management experience

·         Strong reporting and presentation skills

·         Strong leadership, persuasive skills, excellent communication skills

·         High level planning and analytical thinking skills

·         Excellent  and coordination skills prone to teamwork

·         Having sufficient technical knowledge on legal processes, administrative practices, and technical procedures.

·         B class driver’s license and active driving

·         Male candidates must have completed military service

·         Resident / able to reside in Gaziantep.

Duties

Business and Customer Development

·         Developing and Implementing Business and Customer Development Strategy and Plan

·         To understand and transfer the curriculum of the center in the field of lean and digital transformation through trainings and to strive for continious development and enrichment of the curriculum

·         Managing relations with stakeholders

·         To follow the development of the province and neighboring provinces in industry

Customer Service

·         To take part as a lecturer consultant in learning transformation programs

·         Communicate with the top management of participating companies and provide experiential training programs

·         Performing diagnostic analyzes for companies and reporting the outputs

·         Supporting acedemic projects carried out at the center

·         Giving awareness raising seminars

Management

·         Preparing, updating and implementing the Centers annual work plan

·         Coordinating the relations between the project and related organizations

·         To determine, approve and implement the price policy

·         To manage the performance processes of the personnel and to carry out managerial issues related to the income and expenses of the center

·         Performing other duties to be assigned by the management
