We are currently looking for candidates for the position ofProduct Development Engineer (Ford Trucks)directly reports toFord Trucks SVE & QVM Supervisors in our Product Development Team!

SVE Job Description:

·        Working as a Product Design Engineer on the design of product (vehicle option / system / part) together with CAD designer, manufacturer, bodybuilder in Ford Trucks Special Vehicle Engineering projects,

·        Taking part in the solution of design and quality problems that will arise in prototype vehicle manufacturing and mass production,

·        Prepare a test / verification plan (DVP), organize and follow up the tests,

·        To ensure that it is made by the manufacturers who will determine the critical and specific properties (CC & SC) for the newly designed parts and prepare their plans,

·        To publish engineering changes using corporate programs (WERS, MKS, etc.), to monitor the implementation.

·        To follow the designs of the environmental parts that will affect the design of the workpiece and to make necessary updates, to provide information flow with the relevant teams, to inform the other teams affected by the change of design of the parts under the responsibility of Ford Trucks Special Vehicle Engineering,

·        Perform benchmark studies with reference tools and realize cost and quality efficient design, prepare presentations in the format that can be presented in meetings about benchmarks

·        To use quality tools in design quality processes, to take role and responsibility in studies (DFMEA,PFMEA vb.)

·        To represent Ford Trucks Special Vehicle Engineering in the meetings related to the project, factory, manufacturer and bodybuilder,

QVM Job Description:

·        For field warranty issues, performing upfit & vehicle inspections on upfitter site or by inviting upfitter to vehicle site. Organizing problem definition and auditing process.

·        Supervising upfitter web portal.

·        Collection upfit requirements from upfitters, converting upfit requirements to engineering specifications and releasing them to specification system & GPDS.

·        Within QVM Program, getting knowledge for all product portfolio with all design specificitions and accessing upfit installations with no or minor modifications on the vehicle.

·        Managing requests and questions between Sales & Marketing, Service, Warranty, Product Development, Manufacturing departments and upfitters within Upfit Warranty Agreement process.

·        Managing QVM upfitter audits in terms of Engineering, Production, Quality, Vehicle Acceptance&Delivery, After Sale Operations, Material Planning, Safety, Environment, Training and Maintanence and guiding upfitters for necessary improvements.

·        Within Modification Warranty Program, creating and updating necessary instructions, bulletins etc. in coordination with Product Development, Warranty, FCSD and upfitters. Performing random vehicle audits & giving final decisions for warranty issues

·        Supporting and guiding upfitters for proper method selection for vehicle registrations.

·        Assessing, supporting and tracking upfitter quality improvements with PTTR forms.

Experience and Background Skills Desired

·        Engineering Degree (Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering)

·        Min. 2 years Automotive Industry Experienced

·        Military obligation completion is preferred

·        Have excellent English, computer, communication, presentation skills

·        Knowledge / experience of manufacturing methods & Quality systems (Q1, ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO 16449, …)

·        Knowledge / experience of design process & tools (DVP, FMEA, Teamcenter, GD&T, …)

·        Knowledge / experience of problem solving tools (8D, 6-sigma, 5W+1H, Fishbone, …)
