Firalis ArGe is a Turkish affiliate of "FIRALIS", a group of biotechnology companies located at the center of Europe, by the triple border of Switzerland (Basel), France and Germany. 

Via Biomarker R&D, we identify innovative targets of diagnostic and therapeutic interest in the domains of Neurology, Cardiology and Immuno-Oncology, with an access to cutting-edge multi-omics analytical technologies (Genomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics) to support research programs, preclinical and clinical. With a solid expertise, manufacturing RUO and IVD kits, serving as a one-stop-shop CRO for biomarkers discovery, validation, and assay development, operating within > 2 000 m2 of laboratories accredited with the highest quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13845, ISO 17025, NF S 96-900, CAP and many more), at Firalis we drive the future of care by enhancing personalized medicine with a very strong focus.

Working with Firalis gives access to an integrated platform with large capabilities for genomics and proteomics, biobanking, bioanalysis, bioinformatics, assay development, kit manufacturing, and regulatory approvals. We represent our multi-omics services and prepare the commercial launch of our innovative products in Turkey (in parallel to Europe and USA).

We are hiring a SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST with the following qualities:

MISSION: With a clearly defined autonomy and S&M budget, you will represent service and product portfolio, develop new clients, generate sales revenues, drive business growth and execute commercial objectives. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall sales strategy of the organization.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or a relevant field, or in Business Administration, Marketing with relevant experience in sales of biological services and products 
  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or another relevant field is a plus
  • 3 years of relevant proven experience in sales and business development (references will be asked)
  • Advanced in oral and written English (An oral presentation will be asked for the interview)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel as needed


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales and Business Development Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Represent and commercialize services (CRO) and products (Genotyping, Diagnostic Kits)
  • Prospect new customers (University Hospital Labs, Memory Centers, Academic Labs, Biotechs, Big Pharma) in specific therapeutic areas of Neurology, Cardiology, Immuno-Oncology.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals
  • Follow timely execution & delivery of clients’ service contracts or purchase orders
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts
  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Providing feedback to management on market trends and customer needs


OTHER DETAILS

  • SUPERVISION: You will be supported by the French BD Team and report to CEO
  • WORKING HOURS: Full-time, weekdays only (Saturdays might be needed occasionally)
  • WORKING PLACE: University of Boğaziçi, Kandilli Technoparc, Üsküdar, İstanbul
  • (Frequent business meetings, travel and client visits are a natural part of the position)
  • REMUNERATION: Competitive brut salary depending on your profile/seniority
  • MONTHLY MARKETING BUDGET: to be agreed upon after the end of trial period
  • PERFORMANCE BONUS: Based on sales objectives/realizations (might be “per semester”)
  • OTHER POINTS: Formation/Rotation in France might be possible for the ideal candidate.
