In This Role; 

IT Specialist configures and supports networks, servers, databases, and storage devices within datacenters and client locations. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and administrating client environments including performance, backups and disaster recovery. The candidate will support customer environments by troubleshooting system configuration, product installation, and other technical issues. This involves creation of installation plan, automating processes through scripting, installation and configuration and validation of technical environments. 

This position will also be responsible for the documentation of newly deployed environments and validation of all key technical components. 


Your Responsibilities: 

  • Appropriate understanding of Active Directory Administration, Role Based Access Controls, maintain site topology 
  • Administration of Azure AD Services, Federated Services for Office 365 
  • Create and maintain Fineksus Policies and Preferences per Microsoft Best Practices for Workstation, Servers 
  • Managing backup operations 
  • Maintain Windows 2012R2 and 2016 Servers 
  • Provides escalation support for Help Desk tickets, including advanced server system investigation including error reporting, event logs, problem replication 
  • Level 1 and 2 support, advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of Systems Participating in networking administration, troubleshooting and resolution 
  • Experience in monitoring tools, configuration, administration, alerting, reporting Performs day-to-day maintenance such as ensuring adequate file server space, virus detection and monitoring network backups.
  • VMWare vSphere administration, guest administration and client upgrades Provide 24x7 support for all network and server systems that are pivotal to production.   

And you have : 

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience with server technologies administration Hands on experience on UTM Firewall for end user requests (VPN Access Requests like S2S, Client to Site and Remote Access, Policy Management) 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting networking 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in building Windows Servers, Vmware and Powershell CCNA Course or Certification is an asset 
  • Experience in database administration (SQL Server) and web server technology Microsoft IIS is an asset 
  • Good level of English
