Qualifications

• Masters or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aviation, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university
• 3+ years of experience on steering and/or suspension design and integration in automotive environment.
  
• Fluency in English, German will be plus.
  
• Military service completed (preferred).
  
• Great enthusiasm for working on vehicle development projects.
  
• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, result-oriented and ready to take self-initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

Suspension Engineer

• Conceptual and detailed design of wheeled and tracked vehicle over-all suspension system.
• Advance knowledge of design methodology and vehicle level integration process.
• Managing component design and supplier management activities.
• Supporting prototype production, serial production, procurement, planing of testing and verification.
• Preparation of engineering documentation and reports including 3D models, technical drawings, verification plans etc.
• Interface with program management, systems engineering, prototype build teams and purchasing department during the development and verification phases.
  

Steering Engineer

• Conceptual and detailed design of wheeled and tracked vehicle over-all steering system.
• Advance knowledge of Ackermann steering system.
• Managing component design and supplier management activities.
• Supporting prototype production, serial production, procurement, quality control, testing and verification.
• Preparation of engineering documentation including 3D models, technical drawings, procedures, verification plans, design guides etc.
• Interface with program management, systems engineers, safety engineers during the development and verification phases.
